Following the signing of an agreement with Playtech software provider, William Hill Poker made a successful move to the company’s iPoker network and is now able to offer players a wider range of games, prizes and tournaments. One of the biggest perks for players on the new, updated site will be the fact that they can now enter qualifiers for the World Series of Poker (WSOP) event, due to take place in Las Vegas next month. William Hill poker players were unable to enjoy this type of qualifier off the old platform. A satellite package worth over $13,000 is up for grabs in order for lucky players to fly to Vegas, stay in luxury accommodation and enter the main event of the WSOP tournament. “Our players can enjoy even more exciting games and a wider range of tournaments as we are now in the world's biggest networked poker room,” said Lili Huang, speaking for William Hill Poker. “iPoker's network management and powerful collusion prevention system ensures a fair and secure gaming environment, which is a foundation of all changes on our new William Hill Poker site.” There are other qualifiers up for grabs too, including entry into the lucrative European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP) that is due to take place from this month until June 7th, 2009. |
